Crossroads Music Festival

Cricklewood Town Team and Crossroads Productions presented the Crossroads Music Festival, a vibrant celebration of grassroots music, over the weekends of 19-21 and 26-28 September 2025.

The first grassroots music event of its kind in London, the Crossroads Music Festival partnered with local restaurants, cafes, pubs and outdoor spaces to host musicians with diverse global heritage. Free performances of live music were held outdoors in the Mapesbury Dell, on Cricklewood Green and at Oaklands Road and Keyes Road, along with a roaming musician playing the violin around Cricklewood.

The festival’s line-up of  performers included the legendary Dele Sosimi Afrobeat Experience headlining the launch event, while Los Bravos de la K’umbia played classic sounds of Cumbia from Peru; Balamuc brought the sounds of Gypsy music from across Eastern Europe; Madê Machado and Gui Tavares performed Samba and Bossa Nova music from Brazil, and Krar Collective provided a colourful feast of Ethiopian grooves. The festival also featured performances on the steel drums, African and Indian drumming, spoken word and open mic performances, Afro-funk, Cuban salsa, classic Iranian tanbur music, traditional Irish music, ceilidh, and Arabic folk music.

The events showcased the wide array of quality restaurants in Cricklewood, serving cuisine from around the globe, and highlighted Cricklewood’s role both historically and today as a destination for musicians and music lovers.

Cricklewood Town Team and Crossroads Productions are delighted to present the Crossroads Music Festival – a vibrant celebration of grassroots music that showcases the rich cultural diversity of our local community.

This exciting festival brings together talented artists and music lovers to honour the authentic sounds and musical history that make Cricklewood special.
