Cow Green where now you can find Cricklewood station
Once upon a time there was a place called the Cow Green where now you can find Cricklewood station. (from old London Map). A temporary installation, the design was chosen from many drawn up by pupils at Claremont Primary School and the cow itself was lent by local business Theme Traders.
Painted by the winner and members of the school’s Art Club, run by local artist Alistair Lambert (who made the sheep on Cricklewood Common).
The design was chosen for it’s choice and arrangement of colours – clinched by the addition of a shower of pink diamonds. Hopefully Daisy will bring a smile to passengers and passers by.
