Festive Lantern at Cricklewood Winterfest
The second Cricklewood Winterfest was a resounding success. with few hundred people enjoyed the afternoon on 23rd November 2013.
The Winterfest brought a Christmas tree to Cricklewood for the second year and and Cricklewood unique festive lights were switched on by Jasmine, a local girl who won the prize to throw the switch.
Stalls and street theatre performers, including Mora School choir, St Michael's and All Angels Steel Band, light and fire show by Poi Passion carol singers provided entertainment at this festive event. Mulled wine was provided by Mapesbury Residents Association, Father Christmas delighted many children and adults.
Creative Cricklewood ran a great stall making festive lanterns with children and then led a procession from Beacon Bingo to The Crown Hotel via Cricklewood Lane and Yew Grove.
Local businesses who had stalls at the event reported a good day and appreciated the chance to highlight their products and talk directly to the public about their business.
