Cricklewood Town Square

Posted on 13 August 2013

Cricklewood Town Square is a mobile public space coming to Cricklewood this September. The square aims to respond to the lack of space to meet, sit, rest and interact in the community, and will occupy disused and forgotten pieces of land, turning them into civic space for all the community to use.

The square will move across Cricklewood from Saturday 31st August to Saturday 28th September, in an eye-catching 'civic folly' on the back of a bicycle, popping up in a variety of sites: from the grass space outside B&Q, to the empty pavement outside the Bingo, and even on the roof of a car-park. Once the project is over, this structure will be donated to Cricklewood Town Team, and will be available for local community groups to use.
