The Real Man’s Clothing Company has had a presence in Cricklewood since 1946, when the shop first opened on Cricklewood Broadway as Atlas Menswear. Three years ago the shop moved to 106 Cricklewood Broadway, and has been owned and managed by Peter Tubbs since September 2012. In addition to offering a range of clothing in regular sizes, The Real Man’s Clothing Company also offers a specialty in bigger sizes. This plus-size niche brings shoppers from across the capital and outside London.
The OLF design team worked with Mr Tubbs last year to create a spectacular Christmas window, providing the decorations and two models. The project is also helping him to develop a stronger web presence, with more information on the shop’s plus-size stock, and using business advice sessions to plan ways to reach more shoppers.
